As a Design Lead, I will collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to conceptualise and execute innovative visual solutions that align with the product vision. My responsibilities will encompass the entire design process, from conducting user research to delivering final design assets. I will create and maintain design systems, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms while contributing to the development of compelling marketing materials and business presentations.

Conducted a comprehensive twelve-week Website Design course at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. The curriculum emphasised the development of visually appealing, user-centric websites utilising low-code platforms. Students gained practical experience in translating design concepts into functional digital experiences, catering to a diverse audience including aspiring designers, entrepreneurs, and UX/UI professionals. Weekly sessions were conducted with comprehensive slide-decks providing deeper insight into the course material, as well as peripheral industry knowledge to help students meet their design goals. The course fostered a strong foundation in web design principles, enabling participants to effectively meet client requirements and build successful online platforms.
Atlantic Concierge
Acting as a key-player in the creation of a luxury short-term rental service powered by Lew Geffen Sotheby's, I helped shape the brand's visual and virtual identity. Having full reign over the creation and maintenance of the company's website has reinforced my skill in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Additionally, forging a brand identity from scratch has improved my ability to evaluate potential brand personalities allowing the cultivation of a unique and intriguing brand front appealing to target customers.
Lew Geffen Sotheby's: Atlantic Seaboard
Played a key role in shaping brand strategy and ensuring consistent enforcement of brand identity across all marketing initiatives and facilitated collaboration with international branches to align messaging and expand market reach, contributing to the company’s global presence and local branch success. Specialised in developing compelling visual marketing collateral that conveyed company messaging concisely, coherently, and creatively - including engaging multimedia content, including short-form video media, physical print designs (brochures, magazines) as well as a collection of brand-aligned marketing campaigns, tailored to resonate with distinct target audiences. Adapted seamlessly to team-based workflows as a lead designer and co-marketer, delivering high-quality deliverables that elevated the brand and supported strategic business goals.
Red & Yellow Creative School of Business
After completing my advanced diploma in User Centered Design (UX/UI), I was offered a tutoring position for students attending the course for the following year. In being a tutor, I was able to learn how others view problems and the best ways to explain possible solutions and outcomes to different people. Additionally, this allowed me to grapple with the content from an entirely new perspective - further solidifying my knowledge gained during this year of study. I have engaged with learner’s assessments thoroughly and thoughtfully to provide insightful feedback allowing them to hone their own UX/UI design skills whilst routinely testing and reinforcing my own knowledge. Helping students understand a wide variety of topics over a number of different courses, including topics such as the fundamentals of project management, web design, and user experience / user interface considerations.

I picked up a part-time bartending job for some extra income whilst applying for full-time positions and learning new skills. Although not directly translatable to the development and design industry, it has taught me how to operate quickly and efficiently under immense pressure. Additionally, I have greatly improved my people skills. I can communicate clearly and concisely with my co-workers, in addition to being attentive to a customer's needs. Additionally, it has taught me how to listen closely to what a client wants to be able to deliver a satisfying product.
MakeReign
During my Advanced Diploma at Red & Yellow, we would often have live briefs with real UX/UI Design and Developer companies. One of the companies we worked with was MakeReign. I enjoyed the logical feedback and briefing sessions with the MakeReign team and applied as an intern during my studies. Recognising me for my work on their live brief, they accepted my application. MakeReign is a prototyping and user experience design agency. I spent the majority of my internship sitting in on client briefs and learning industry tools and standards.

My technical and creative ability started in my early teen years. As the creator of a highly successful YouTube channel amassing nearly 70,000 subscribers, Acting as the sole editor, producer, strategist and planner for this channel and its content release strategies. Thereby honing creativity, technical expertise, and time management skills whilst building and maintaining a dedicated, steadily growing audience over a number of years. This experience provided a deep understanding of audience engagement, platform analytics, marketing strategies and storytelling skills allowing me to communicate effectively with my audience. This understanding lead to a thorough and effective branding and content strategy, all of which have laid a strong foundation for both collaborative and independent projects in my adult years.
I attended high school at an Independent Examinations Board school. I was within the Top 10 highest academic performers in graduating year in addition to receiving the subject prize for Art.
Passed with distinction (75% and above) and with a GPA of 75.24. Additionally, I completed all three years with the Dean's Merit List - an award acknowledging academic excellence. I also received yearly invites to the International Honor Society (Golden Key) - of which only the top 15% of academic perfomers per course are invited.

I was also awarded with the Bob Rightford "Enough Is Never Enough" Award for going above and beyond what is expected - an acknowledgement of acedemic excellence. In addition, I was branded as a "Top Achiever" when presented with certificate of completion.
Although I have experience in practical implementation, I have an in-depth understanding of commonly used design systems, methodologies and practices. I can adapt to new concepts quickly, and am familiar with architecture patterns, multi-layer architecture, agile development, and concurrent and parallel programming - to name a few.
I have three years of undergraduate experience with backend development principles, design and execution. I aim to create code that is highly efficient and easy to read. I religiously follow coding best practices, constantly refining and refactoring existing code ensuring it is readable, useful and reusable.
I have a thorough understanding of basic front-end coding principles and practice. I am well-versed in good design practice. My websites are goal-oriented, and drive users towards completing a desired action. I am constantly ensuring my websites are fully functional and user-friendly.
I am proficient in analysing human behaviour and solving problems in a unique way with practical and strategic design skills. I can take a project from the conceptual stage into interactive prototyping and further into a working front-end final version. Designs are ergonomic and straightforward - while remaining inspiring and refreshing.
